Loving Care
When You Can't Be There.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotioz                                                                        - Unknown

I am the proud parent of three dogs. I became involved in dog rescue in 2001; and, over the years, I have helped rescues across the country transport hundreds of dogs who were once on "death row" to the safety of either foster homes or to their new forever families.
In 2006, I completed a 6-week internship at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, UT (http://www.bestfriends.org). It was a life-changing experience! During my time there, I was fortunate enough to work with a Pit Bull named Cupid (pictured).
During most of 2007 (after leaving my job of 17 years as a legal assistant), I volunteered at a local shelter where I was in charge of taking pictures of all of the animals, as well as socializing with and training the dogs. I will never forget any of the dogs that I was fortunate enough to get to know and work with. Perky (n/k/a Spike) was one of my favorites. They will all be forever in my heart!
